License
How commercial licensing works for Flink Manager and how to activate your license after installation.
Overview
- Flink Manager is a commercial product by Vinteros Labs (Luxembourg).
- It is not open source and not free — a paid license is required for production use.
- For evaluation, the website issues a free trial license that Vinteros Labs keeps renewed, so you can always test the latest console.
Obtaining a license
- Open vinteros-labs.com and locate the Flink Manager product page.
- For a quick evaluation, get a free trial license directly at the license page — the website issues a testing license instantly, and Vinteros Labs keeps it renewed automatically.
- For a production license, follow the enquiry / purchase flow (form or contact details on the site); Vinteros Labs will issue your license as a license token — a compact, signed token.
Activating the license
Licenses are managed in the console under Configuration → License (requires the LICENSE_MANAGE permission, granted to the admin role by default).
- Install and start Flink Manager (see Installation).
- Log in and open Configuration → License.
- Paste the license token into the License token field and click Install license.
- The page shows the license status, who it was issued to, the expiry date and the days remaining.
License statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Valid | License installed and within its validity period. |
| Expiring soon | Valid, but expiring within 30 days (a warning is shown). |
| Expired | Validity period has ended — protected operations are locked. |
| Missing | No license installed — protected operations are locked. |
| Invalid | Token malformed, tampered or unsupported. |
What happens without a valid license
Protected operations are rejected until a valid license is installed. The console surfaces a license warning banner; administrators can still reach the License page to install or renew a license.
Renewal
Paste the new token on the same page — installing a new license replaces the previous one. Trial licenses can be re-requested at any time from the license page.
Support
For license questions, billing, renewals, or evaluation licenses, contact Vinteros Labs via the website — or create a ticket there directly. For product issues (bugs, unexpected behaviour), open a GitHub issue on the documentation repository or create a ticket on the official website.
